Today we started the series of information points within the project „Putna River – creation of the integrated management system for the Site of Community Interest Putna River and the neighboring protected natural areas: Râpa Roşie – Dealu Morii, Algheanu Reserve and Bozu Creek”.
The event followed, in addition to promoting protected natural areas, the celebration of Earth Day, which took place on April 22.
Both tourists and locals were informed about the natural riches of the protected natural areas: Putna River, Râpa Roşie – Dealu Morii, Algheanu Reserve and Bozu Creek and their conservation needs.
The infopoint was organized in Tulnici, Vrancea County, being the first of a series of 10, which will take place in our project. The locations of the infopoints include the 7 communes superimposed on the project area: Tulnici, Vidra, Bârseşti, Valea Sării, Vrâncioaia, Negrileşti and Năruja.
The action aims to reduce the impact of anthropogenic activities with negative effects on the natural resources of the Putna River and neighboring protected natural areas, by informing local communities and visitors.
